My grandfather was considered a visionary by many people, and I am one of them. The more time I spend at The Lodge, the more I realize that my grandfather, Harold Koplar, really had a wonderful vision in mind for individuals, couples, families and groups when seeking relaxation in Lake of the Ozarks.

Times have changed through the decades, but The Lodge has always had the same quality and dedication to serving our guests since opening in 1964.A Return To The Paste

If you’ve walked through our doors recently, you may have noticed that we have refinished our stone floors to their original grandeur and our hotel has a fresh, clean appearance. The Lodge has been a part of my family for over 40 years, and it means everything to me…and to my family.

I hope you will take the time to come visit us; to see how we are returning to the past without sacrificing modern comfort and conveniences. Enjoy the pictures of our past, but know that we are returning to a time when it wasn’t just a hotel visit, it was a destination!
